The month of March is National Red Cross Month, and the organization needs your help.

Support specialist Susan Hoskinson of the Muskingum Valley Chapter said her chapter has some important events coming up.

"We have our Denny's Blood Drive as well as a greet and seat for a fundraiser. Our Blood Drives; we're having a shortage right now. So the Blood Drive starts at 4 o'clock, and the Greet and Seat starts at 5 p.m.," said Hoskinson.

Volunteers fired up the grills and flipped pancakes for a good cause...

The Muskingum Valley chapter of the American Red Cross held a breakfast fundraiser at the Applebee's restaurant on Maple Avenue on Saturday. Development Director Troy Alford said he was optimistic from the start.

The season's unusually warm temperatures are having a positive impact on the Red Cross.

According to Executive Director Marlene Henderson of the Muskingum Valley Chapter, the disaster fund in place to help families coping from a house fire has barley been used this season.

The United Way of Muskingum Perry and Morgan counties needs your help.

The organization has received dozens of calls this week through their 211 Call Center for those in need of fans and air conditioners

The dog days of summer are upon us and the Red-Cross wants to remind you to stay cool.

Executive Director of the Muskingum Valley Red-Cross Marlene Henderson wants to remind you the dangers of heat can be deadly and you need to take precaution.
