Authorities in Perry County say four people are in custody following a drug raid at a home in New Lexington.
 

The Perry County Sheriff's Office along with New Lexington Police and two other agencies executed a search warrant Tuesday at 530 Moxahala Street.
 

Detectives seized around 10 pounds of marijuana and a large amount of currency and firearms from the location.
 

Four people were arrested and will be formally charged at a later time....

At the start of the season, Rosecrans head coach Todd Rock said there would be at least a few blemishes on the Bishops record after 20 regular season games. The first time Zanesville and Tri-Valley squared off, the Blue Devils cruised to a 20 point victory. Tuesday night in Dresden was a much different tale. After scoring only 30 points in the entire game January Eighth at Zanesville, the Scotties had 31 with 1:39 remaining in the third quarter, taking a nine point lead into the final frame. New Lexington had the MVL Tournament all but wrapped up before the finals started but still were able to place four wrestlers on the top of the podium today. With the win the Panthers earned their ninth staright MVL Championship and did so in impressive fashion.

Once again there has been a drug bust in Perry County.

According to the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force, agents executed a search warrant Thursday at 534 Harrison Street in New Lexington regarding drug activity at the home.

Authorities say they recovered marijuana and prescription pills and took two people into custody. The two suspects are being held on drug charges, but their names will not be released until formal charges are filed.
