The Licking County Crime Stoppers are offering up to $1,000 to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in a home burglary case. 

The Newark Police Department said on March 23 a suspect or suspects entered a home in the 200 block of Race Street and stole electronics, cash and jewelery. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at (740) 349-6888.

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a law enforcement officer's identification badge being stolen from a car.

The Newark Division of Police reports between April 27 and 28, suspect(s) stole a wallet out of a car parked at a home in Newark's east end. The wallet contained the ID badge.

Newark Police want your help in solving a local burglary.

Authorities said sometime between April 21-22 a suspect or suspects broke into a home in the 400 block of Wehrle Avenue and stole two handguns, electronics and cash.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at (740) 349-6888.

 The Newark Police Department needs help in solving a case involving a high school's football field. 

Police said sometime between March 21-25 a suspect or suspects broke into White Field at 65 North 11th Street and stole a Kuboata Mower and a Hyundai Golf Cart.

A teacher facing charges of sexual battery goes before the court.

A hearing took place Tuesday for 32-year-old Anthony Miller, of Westerville. Newark Police said detectives arrested the teacher for having sexual relations with a student at Newark High School while working as an assistant band director .

In Licking County Court a judge set bond at $75,000. A preliminary hearing is set for March 6.

The Licking County Crime Stoppers offer a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of two juveniles.

The Newark Police Department reports 16-year-old Matt Mallassee and 15-year-old Jordan Frazier are each wanted on a probation warrant and may be in the company of one another.
