The Newark Police Department wants to know who vandalized Newark High School's Football Field over the summer.

Authorities said that sometime between August 5-6 a suspect or suspects broke into White's Field at 70 north 11th Street and vandalized the restrooms, stadium stands, windows and press box.

Newark Police are looking into vandalism of a Newark home.

Authorities said July 10, suspects broke into the home on North Williams Street and did damage to the interior of the house. Witnesses describe the suspects as two black males.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-488-9058.

The Newark Police Department swears in its newest officer.

Licking County authorities now know what caused the death of a woman found in a ravine in Newark.

Authorities said that the death was accidental. The Licking County coroner said that Martha Darner died after falling and breaking her neck.

Two children discovered 44-year-old Darner's body on Friday at about 6 p.m. under a bridge along State Route 79.

The medical examiner said that there was no sign of any kind of assault.

Authorities in Licking County search for any information regarding a November home burglary.

Newark Police said that on November 22 a suspect or suspects broke into a home in the 700 block of Mt. Vernon Road and stole electronics and jewelry from the home.

An award is being offered to anyone with information into a robbery at a Newark bar.

The incident took place around closing time at the Blue Raccoon Bar on West Church Street on May 18th.

Newark Police reported that three unknown men robbed the establishment at gunpoint.

The bar's owner and two patrons were inside at the time.

The suspects got away with cash from the bar and patrons as well as some personal items.

A Junction City man is accused of robberies in three states.

According to the Newark Police Department, 21-year-old Nikolas Evans was arrested Tuesday in connection with several aggravated robberies. Authorities say Evans provided a taped confession where he admitted to four robberies.

Newark Detectives are searching every angle to find a missing woman and her 4 year-old son.
