Volunteers gathered at North Terrace Church this afternoon to help prepare meals for local students.

Generosity feeds paired with the Zanesville community to prepare almost 25 thousand meals of which will be distributed to teachers and counselors in local schools who will pass them out to students on Fridays before they head home for the weekend.

The North Terrace Church of Christ held their first ever Community Easter Egg hunt on Saturday.

An estimated $3,000 people of all ages came to watch local children hunt for more 15,000 easter eggs. Along with the hunt, visitors enjoyed bounce houses, food and face painting. Lead Minister of the church, Matt Mehaffey says he hopes the crowds also took home an important message with them.

There were about 300 people at the Wild West themed banquet held at the North Terrace Church of Christ Thursday night. The hospital honored all of the volunteers as a group and also recognized volunteers who have reached specific milestones

A local Cub Scouts participated in a pinewood derby race at North Terrace Church in Zanesville Saturday afternoon. About 55 cub scouts from Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties raced their pinewood derby cars.

"It's the first one we've done in twelve years. We had some problems at the last one and they've not done it since. So I took it upon myself to do this for these boys," said Phil Palmer of the Zane Trace District Pinewood Derby.
