Drivers across south eastern Ohio will experience lane closures as crack sealing operations begin for this construction season. 

Crews will be paving routes in Coshocton, Guernsey and Knox counties. Work will start with US 36 in Coshocton County from Nellie to Coshocton.

 The Ohio Department of Transportation's traffic website is reporting some road closures in our area due to high water. 

According to State Route 669 in Morgan County is closed near McConnelsville.

There's also a road closure in Coshocton County on State Route 715. The roadway there is closed between County Road 20 and the Village of Walhonding.

A road closure will affect motorists in Guernsey County starting Monday. 

State Route 660 is closed as the Ohio Department of Transportation crews work just north of Coleman and south of Sugar Grove Road to replace a culvert. 

The road will remain closed from now until after 5pm on Friday. 

Traffic will be detoured via State Route 313 east to State Route 821 and north to State Route 209 North and reverse.

Beginning Monday, April 6 the one and off ramps of I-70 westbound will be closed for several weeks. 

The closure is part of a mine grouting project which started last summer.  The Ohio Department of Transportation announced Tuesday  an I-70 ramp closure in Muskingum County.

Officials say the US 22/US 40 to I-70 eastbound on ramp in Norwich will be closed Wednesday.

The ramp will close beginning at 8:30a.m. and remain closed until 3:00p.m for maintenance.

Traffic will be detoured from US 22/US 40 East to SR 83 to east I-70

An over $184,000 project is set to take place in the Village of New Concord on Monday. 

The Ohio Department of Transportation said work includes new sidewalks, crosswalks and curb ramps, as well as upgrades to intersections on various village streets.

Work is being done by Buds Incorporated. 

The project is expected to be completed by July 1, 2015, weather permitting.

Those traveling Interstate 77 in Guernsey County will see delays and lane restrictions starting next week. 

Beginning Monday March 9, The Ohio Department of Transportation said they'll begin removing trees on the west side of the roadway.

 The Ohio Department of Transportation is working hard Thursday morning to clear roadways in our area. 

Over 80 ODOT plows are currently plowing and treating roadways in district 5 which includes Muskingum County.

We could be looking at another big snow storm entering the area and the Ohio Department Of Transportation is already forming a plan of action.
