The Ohio Lottery says a Coshocton woman scratched her way to a $200,000 win. The game was the instant ticket $200,000 match. After taxes Cynthia Shaw will receive $142,000. Shaw bought the ticket at Coshocton Bellstore on South 2nd Street. She says she plans to use part of her money to buy a new tablet.

Mother Tucker's lottery hot streak continued into June. 

The lottery is a big part of the store's business. Owner Jimmy Pitcock said many people come in to purchase tickets on a regular basis, and just a few months after selling a $1 million ticket, the store has now sold a $2 million winner.

Somebody in Muskingum County could be holding a winning $1 million Ohio lottery ticket. It was part of the New Year's Raffle game.

The lottery sold around 400,000 tickets and 3,334 prizes were offered. In those prizes were four tickets valued at $1 million. And Mother Tucker's on Sharon Avenue in Zanesville sold one of the million dollar tickets.

A Frazeysburg man and his wife celebrate a very happy holiday thanks to a big lottery win. 

Russell Proffit earned a $500,000 payoff after he scratched the "Lucky Playbook." His wife Cheryl began screaming when he scratched the ticket, but Russell didn't believe it until he had the ticket verified.

Ohio Lottery players can expect to pay twice as much for their chance at a big cash prize.

Players of the Ohio Lottery's Powerball drawings will see ticket prices go up from one to two dollars. With the doubling in price comes a doubling of the jackpot as well, which will start at 40 million dollars. At Mother Tucker's gas station on Sharon Avenue, cashier, Erik Land believed the hike in price might actually help improve ticket sales.

The Ohio Lottery is thinking of joining the Powerball game, and that decision could come as early as this spring.

Mother Tuckers cashiers Audrey Davis and Ruby Tabor say they would love for Ohio to be able to participate in the Powerball game.

"We have a lot of people that play lottery here, and that would be super because there's a lot of Ohioans, a lot of Zanesville people that go out of town or actually go out of state to play the Powerball, " says Davis.
