According to the Columbus Dispatch, Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller has reinjured his right throwing shoulder.

Miller had surgery on the shoulder back in February after injuring it during the Orange Bowl against Clemson. Since the operation, Ohio State coaches have been slowly bringing back the senior quarterback into team activities.

 Miami, FL --- It was a back-and-forth duel Friday, but the Clemson Tigers landed the final punch to defeat Ohio State, 40-35 in the Orange Bowl. Through two seasons, Urban Meyer is 24-1 as the head coach of Ohio State. The numbers stand for themselves, but for a competitor like Meyer, that one loss still stings, not only for him, but his team. One of the state's highest basketball honors has been given by the Associated Press.  Toledo St. John's Jesuit's Marc Loving was recently named Ohio's Mr. Basketball for the 2012-2013 season. The award is annually given to the state's top performer. Loving (senior) led the Titans to a 20-4 record this season. He is a two-time Division I Player of the Year, and averaged 21.3 points, 8.2 rebounds per game this season.

Former Coshocton linebacker Zack Shaw told WHIZ Saturday that he expects to redshirt his first year with the Indiana Hoosiers.

Shaw, the Redskins all-time leading tackler and a former Division IV Defensive Player of the Year, did not see time on the field when IU battled the Buckeyes.  Even still, he says the experience was great.

#8 Liberty Center 28 - #9 Ridgewood 14

Michigan State 10 - Ohio State 7

Zanesville native and Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio can finally say he's beaten Ohio State.  In four previous attempts, the former Buckeye defensive coordinator was unable to pick up a victory.

Saturday, in the Horseshoe, his Spartans were the better team.  Michigan State recorded 9 sacks, completely shutting down Ohio State's offense on the way to a 10-7 win in each team's Big Ten opener.
