ZANESVILLE, Ohio - At the First Friday event in downtown Zanesville there were local artists at all points in their career. Some were receiving awards, while others were displaying their artwork for the first time. Local artist Bobby Shaw was the latter.
Shaw works with pencils as a realist portrait artist. Today was the first time he showed his work publicly and his works primarily focus on Ohio’s most popular football team.
A handful of Zanesville football standouts took to the cafeteria stage on Wednesday, and nearly all of them signed with a program familiar to the Blue Devils.
Wide Receiver Alessio Amato, athlete Ben Kaufman, linebacker Leondre Crosby and offensive lineman Tavian Butts will continue their academic and athletic careers at Ohio Dominican University, hiking Zanesville's grand total of Panthers signed up to 12.
