More than $12,000 was presented to Operation Feed from Century National Bank on June 25.

The money will go toward the 15 pantries and four hot meal programs in Muskingum County. Chairman of the Board of Century National Bank said the money is a product of a year of hard work.

One local organization is stepping up to help moms in need.

Riesbeck's in South Zanesville is holding its 6th annual Community Baby Shower this Friday to benefit Operation Feed's Special Needs Pantry. Customers interested in donating to the cause can purchase items in store, outside on the tables, or the provided "grab bags" full of baby items. There will also be food and activities for those in attendance.

 Community members gathered as local celebrities took a sweet treat right to the face today.

The confection covered volunteers were doing it all for a good cause. Among the pied faces were Mayor Jeff Tilton, Sheriff Matt Lutz, and Director of Christ's Table Keely Warden. Warden said that she took the dessert to the face because she knew that the community needs help.

Children's Services and Christ's Table are preparing for their 4th annual Pie in the Face event.

Local celebrities, including Mayor Jeff Tilton and Sheriff Matt Lutz, will take a pie to the face this Thursday afternoon, but they're taking it all for a good cause. A drawing was held Tuesday to find out who would be tossing those pies at their favorite "celeb."

Riesbeck's held its annual Operation Feed Spring Food Drive Friday.

Operation Feed has multiple events this week to raise money and collect food donations for the Muskingum County Hunger Network

The events this week include the annual Cupcake War and A fill the bag event. Tax day is on the way, but Operation Feed is giving you a reason to smile as you file your return.

The United Way's annual sub sale as part of Operation Feed is coming up on April 15, but orders are now being taken for the sale. Executive Director of Christ's Table, Keely Warden, said the sale is a way to enjoy tax day.

Last year the Muskingum County Hunger Network served nearly 940,000 meals.

The network, which consists of 15 food pantries and four hot meal programs is kicking off its 35th annual Operation Feed event. It's an event to promote the giving spirit of Muskingum County. The Muskingum Hunger Network wants you to eat breakfast Saturday to help provide a meal to those less fortunate.

A pancake breakfast is being held Saturday morning at the Applebee's on Maple Avenue as the final portion of this year's Operation Feed campaign.

Nearly 20 area dignitaries were pied in the face to raise money for the operation feed campaign hosted by Christ's Table on Thursday.

For the third year community members had the chance to pie a "celebrity" of their choice in the face by donating funds to the good cause. There were many well known faces participating including Muskingum County sheriff Matt Lutz.
