A 24- year old Coshocton woman has been arrested for driving under the influence.
Around 2 a.m.. Sunday Ohio State Highway Patrol received a 911 call of a driver driving the wrong way on Interstate 70. Troopers spotted the car near Airport Road traveling on the wrong side of the road. Troopers were able to get the car to stop near the I-70 rest area. Sergeant Jeffrey Jirles said the driver tested more than 2 1/2 times the legal limit for alcohol.
Ohio State Highway Patrol charges a Lancaster man with 6th OVI offense.
The Ohio State Patrol Troopers have charged 49 year old, Neil A. Morgan with operating under the influence for the 6th time. Morgan, a Lancaster resident was arrested on March 8, 2016 after being stopped for a speed violation on 33A and Wilson Lane.
Morgan was scheduled to appear in Fairfield County Municipal Court on March 9, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol says it charged an area man with his 5th operating a vehicle under the influence offense. Lt. Matt Boyd says 32-year-old David Arbuckle of Zanesville was stopped for a traffic violation just after 1:30 a.m. Thursday. Arbuckle is scheduled to appear in Zanesville Municipal Court on December 28th at 9:00 a.m.
Ohio State quarterback JT Barrett appeared in Franklin County Municipal Court for his arraignment on a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence. He pleaded guilty and the judge ordered him to attend a three day intervention program, fined him 400 dollars and suspended his license for 180 days. The Highway Patrol says excessive speed and prescription drug use are thought to be contributing factors in a single car accident Tuesday that knocked over a live electric pole, a mailbox and left one lucky driver with only minor injuries.
The accident occurred just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening in the 1600 block of Dietz Lane and left the vehicle, a maroon Dodge 2500, with substantial damage. Trooper Troy Hale with the Ohio State Highway Patrol explained more.

According to the Highway Patrol, 40-year-old Scott D. Mautz of Zanesville was arrested at 12:49 a.m. Sunday after being stopped for a traffic violation. The case is being presented to the Muskingum County Prosecutor, pending further charges.
