Two missing children from Perry County return home safe to their mother. 

Around 9:20pm Tuesday the Perry County Sheriff's Office received a call about two missing children. The pair had left the home in Rehoboth around 7pm and had not returned. 

Investigators were called to the scene and local fire and EMS departments, Perry County K-9 Officer Argo and the Ohio State Highway Patrol Aerial Division conducted a search of the area.

Two men are now in custody following a three-month long investigation into heroin and prescription drug trafficking, also including meth and oxycodone.

Three drug related arrests have been made in Perry County in the last week. 

Sheriff William R. Barker said that the first incident occurred on Oct. 26. Agents with Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested Michael 'Shane' Fulk, 41, of Crooksville and Goldie Mae Canter, 38, of New Lexington.

The Perry County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday morning. 

Shortly after 9:00 a.m. the Perry County Sheriff’s Office received a call in regards to an Armed Robbery at Potters Pub located at 13037 Karl Brown Road in Roseville, Ohio.  Two suspects have been arrested following a burglary in Perry County.

The Perry County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a home at 11830 Harrison Township Road 445 in Crooksville on Sunday in regards to an active burglary.

Deputies with the Perry County Sheriff's Office seized over 36 lbs of marijuana valued at approximately $45,000 Tuesday.

The eradication took place after citizen complaints directed them to 5094 Township Rd. in New Straitsville. Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation spotters observed 15 large marijuana plants growing on the property.

The Perry County Sheriff's Office announces the indictment of two major drug traffickers. 

27-year-old Marcus Isham of New Lexington was indicted on complicity to aggravated possession of heroin, trafficking in heroin and possession of prescription drugs. 

The Sheriff's Office said between May of 2013 and November of 2014, Isham distributed nine and a half ounces of heroin throughout Perry and surrounding counties.

A Junction City man has been arrested on drug charges following a sting operation.

On March 23rd the Perry County Sheriff’s Office and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested 45-year-old James C. Hanning for Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals for the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine.
