One area business remembers our past through pictures.

The Camera Shop now on Brandywine Boulevard used to call downtown Zanesville home and has been in business for 62 years. Over that time the shop as acquired photos from the area's past and are putting over 200 on display that haven't been shown before.

"We chose ones that had meaning, had people, showed older buildings, downtown Zanesville that people may be interested in seeing," said Co-owner Jodie Englehart.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but for this artist of the month, a picture is worth a pure passion.

Artist Connie Lambert loves photography. She started her photography career at Ohio State and hasn't been able to put down the camera since. Colleague and artist Gary Graham says its not just the picture, its everything about the picture.

A group of individuals at The Wilds are trying to find that perfect picture this weekend.

They are taking part in The Wilds' second annual Photography Camp, and Conservation Education Specialist, Denise Natoli Brooks, says thanks to the amazing response from last year's three day camp, The Wilds was able to add an additional one this year.
