A Zanesville man has pleaded guilty to a robbery charge in connection with an incident at a local grocery store.

48-year-old Jeffrey Johnson entered the plea Monday  in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

Zanesville police say on February 24th, Johnson stole several items from the Pick N Save on Howard Street .Detectives say he also threatened two employees with a knife before fleeing the store.

No one was injured in the incident....

A Zanesville man was sentenced Monday in connection with a purse snatching incident at a local grocery store that left two women hurt.

25-year-old Frank Mihelich Jr. appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court where he was sentenced by Judge Mark Fleegle to three years in prison on a robbery charge.

A Zanesville man charged with a robbery at the Pick 'N Save  on Howard Street was arraigned in court Wednesday.

48-year-old Jeffrey Johnson appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court where he pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of aggravated robbery.

In preparation for Friday's winter weather, many people found themselves stocking up on supplies at local stores.

The Pick-N-Save on Howard Street was bustling with activity Friday afternoon as shoppers picked up necessary supplies, such as food, shovels and salt.
Manager, Rich Daugherty said shoppers at his store are preparing for the possibility of losing power.

Last minute shoppers were out Monday getting items for their Fourth of July celebrations.

Riesbeck's Pick N Save parking lot was packed Monday morning with shoppers scrambling to get last minute deals. Assistant Store Director, Steve Fusner, says the store was busy keeping shelves stocked. The rain couldn't keep people away from donating to Operation Feed.

Operation Feed helps 16 food pantries in Muskingum County. Riesbecks Pick'N Save in Zanesville is hosting a special event to help the effort. WHIZ's Ashley Drane has the story.

People flooded the local grocery stores today to stock up and prepare for the snow that's falling.

Pick n Save was having a hard time keep their shevles stocked.

"We are trying to beat the storm and they have a great meat sale going on. Plus I needed milk and bread and juice just extra things to pick up to stay at home for the next three days," Local Shopper Cindy Coburn Local said.

People weren't just getting food, but salt, shovels, blankets, and batteries...
