Some residents in our area are waking up without power Wednesday morning as heavy storms moved through the area on Tuesday.

AEP Ohio is reporting that 1,158 customers are currently without power in Muskingum County.

High winds Monday afternoon knocked out power in a portion of Muskingum County during the day. As of about 8PM, 626 AEP customers in Muskingum County were without any form of electric. The high winds are causing some serious power outages in our area and across the state. Here in Muskingum County there are around 21-hundred customers without service….in Perry County there are over 6000 without power…in Coshocton County its 726, Guernsey 148…and, Morgan County with 57 customers without service. A-e-P says crews are working to fix the problems, but there are no set time when service will be restored.
