The Wednesday morning thunderstorms have left some area residents without power. American Electric Power says as of 4:30 pm 152 customers are still withoout power Licking County. The Energy Cooperative in Newark is reporting all power to their customers has now been restored. No other power outages are being reported in our seven county area. No word on when service will be restored.

Some severe storms that ripped through our area Tuesday dropped some heavy rain, featured vibrant lightning and included some power outages. American Electric Power is reporting that as of 1:45 pm there are 346 customers without service in Muskingum County. In Licking County there are 2,178 customers without power and 135 customers lost service in Morgan County.   A-E-P has not announced yet when service will be restored. Windy conditions Thursday morning are leaving some Americans Electric customers in the dark.

These are the power outage numbers as reported by AEP:

Muskingum County: 1015

Licking County: 244

Coshocton County: 207

Fairfield County: 253

Guernsey County: 218

There is no word on when power will be restored.

Strong storms that moved through our area have knocked out power to thousands of American Electric Customers Wednesday morning.

The following is a list of power outage numbers:

Muskingum County: 1,094

Licking County: 6,287

Coshocton County: 120

Fairfield County: 3,229

Morgan County: 277

There are around 90 American Electric Power customers in the Zanesville area still without electricity Monday night.
 

AEP officials say around 40 customers in the Country Club Drive area are without service due to downed lines on West Drive.
 

Power should be restored to those customers by 7:00 p.m. Monday.
 

And around 45 customers in the Bridgeville area are without power.

The high winds caused some power outages for area residents Monday morning.

American Electric Power reported at one time Guernsey County had 487 without service and 163 Muskingum County residents without power. Power has now been restored to all customers.

The Energy Cooperative announces they now have 760 members without power Thursday morning.

That includes 760 consumers in Ashland, Knox, Richland and 25 members in Licking County.

A total of eleven line crews and four right of way crews are working to restore power. They hope to have everyone back on line by 10pm Thursday.

Currently, The Energy Cooperative has 929 members without power. Outages by county are:

· 4 in Ashland County

· 735 in Knox County (primarily the Apple Valley Substation)

· 175 in Licking County

· 15 in Richland County

A total of six line crews and seven Right-of-Way crews are working to restore power. Additional Right-of-Way crews from Wolfe Tree Service have been contracted to assist in tree and debris clearing. High winds today...

American Electric Power reports outages from Tuesday's freezing rain and Wednesday's wind in Muskingum, Coshocton, Morgan, Perry  and Licking counties Tuesday.

In Muskingum County 350 customers are without power. Coshocton County reports 925 customers without power and Licking  County reports 2,229are without service. In addition Morgan County reports over 300 customers without service while Perry County has over 400.
