Comments from President Barak Obama sparked debate into which is worse alcohol or marijuana.

In a recent "New Yorker" article the president said he tried smoking marijuana and that he doesn't think it's more dangerous than alcohol.

President Obama has declared Muskingum County and 36 other counties in Ohio as major disaster areas after the June 29th severe storms.

Muskingum County EMA Director Bo Keck said the money will be made available to the county as well as cities and villages, but not to the general public.

Keck believed the money will help many local governments struggling to pay bills, offset the costs of the damages and clean up.

President Obama's re-election campaign now has a headquarters in Zanesville.

More than 100 people attended the grand opening of Organizing for America's Zanesville office Tuesday.
