The race for President makes a stop in Cambridge this week. The Zanesville Patriots gathered outside Staley Communications Saturday on Putnam Avenue to discuss their right to bear arms. The Patriots hosted a "bumper-sticker-stick-on" event where those who support them received a free bumper sticker promoting the second amendment.

Republicans are rallying in Muskingum County days before the November election.

The Largest Republican Tailgate Party was held at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds Saturday evening, featuring some big-names in the state, including John Boehner, Bob Gibbs, and Rob Portman. They agree that there's two main issues driving the election this year: jobs and the economy.

Local chapters of the National Tea Party will be holding rallies across the US this Thursday, including one outside of the Muskingum County Court House.

The rally brought out about 600 people last year. Organizer, Kay Clymer, says she wants to top that this year.

"I'm hoping so. I'm hoping and praying for a thousand people or more, " says Clymer.

With the first parole hearing quickly approaching for a convicted murderer, the victim's family is rallying support from the community to keep him behind bars. WHIZ's Katie Jeffries has the story.
