There's a major recall of powder Similac formula, because it may be contaminated with insects parts. Abbott Labs says it uncovered insects last week in one of its Michigan manufacturing plants. The formula may contain a small beetle or larvae which could cause stomach problems.

The formula was sold in plastic containers and cans in 8, 12.4 and 12.9-ounce sizes.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is announcing the voluntary recall of around 11,000 baby bottle warmers.

The Beaba Express Steam Bottle Warmers are being recalled by Williams-Sonoma, because of potential burn hazard for adults and babies.

The warmers were sold by Williams-Sonoma at stores, online and in catalogs during June and July 2010. The company has received 10 complaints about the warmer causing bottles to overheat.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a voluntary recall of Levana Wireless Baby Monitors. The monitors are distributed by Circus World Displays Limited.

The CPSC says the monitors can overheat and emit smoke posing a burn hazard.

The recall involved monitors with the model number LV-TW300. The product was sold between February and May of this year.

If you have this product stop using it immediately. Return it to Circus World Displays for a full refund...

Baby Matters LLC has issued a voluntary recall of 30,000 Nap Nanny portable baby recliners.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is currently investigating the death of a 4-month-old Michigan girl who died in a Nap Nanny that was used in a crib. The CPSC says the girl was found in between the Nap Nanny and the crib bumper. There have been 22 reports of children hanging or falling out of the Nap Nanny despite being harnessed in.

Rittberger Meats in Zanesville has announced a voluntary recall.

The recall involves approximately 15 pounds of sliced bacon that was not inspected by the Ohio Department of Agriculture's Division of Meat Inspection.

Company President Andy Rittberger says the possibility of a food safety hazard is remote and that it was simply a mistake that the Ohio Department of Agriculture was not notified.

An Army recall of 44,000 combat helmets last Friday is a result of an investigation into a Hebron, Ohio-based military contractor name Armorsource. Army officials announced today that after re-testing on the helmets, it was found that they would not protect soldiers from a rare but worst-case-scenario. Chief Executive Officer, Larry Dickson says that they are currently trying to figure out what the issue is.

The recent Toyota recall isn't just affecting drivers, it's having a positive affect on American-made car companies.

Dutro new car sales manager, Dav Wallace, says more people are visiting the car lot.

More than 900 doses of the H1N1 Vaccine in Licking County are part of a nationwide recall. The recall is not safety related

The Centers for Disease Control announced that manufacturer MedImmune was voluntarily recalling approximately  4.7 million doses of the nasal spray H1N1 vaccine.

The reason is due to the potency of the vaccine.

Earlier this week, Toyota announced a major recall involving 3.8 million vehicles due to a possible safety issue with the cars' removable floor mats.
