The Salvation Army kicked off their Red Kettle Campaign at Colony Square mall Saturday morning.

The Salvation Army's largest fundraiser of the year is right around the corner.

The Salvation Army's largest fundraiser of the year is right around the corner.

The Salvation Army of Zanesville got a generous donation Wednesday.

Starting Monday the Salvation Army's iconic red kettles are back around the city of Zanesville.

Currently, there are five locations where people can donate to the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign. It is the biggest fundraiser the army has each year, and volunteer Kerrie Webb said donations will benefit multiple things this year.

The Salvation Army in Zanesville is celebrating a record year of its Red Kettle Campaign.

Major Ralph Campbell said the campaign netted about $7,000 this year, and another $7,000 was received through the mail.  Although walk-in donations saw a significant decrease, Campbell said the record-breaking Red Kettle Campaign and mail-in donations made up for it.
