Today marked the 24th Anniversary of the Annual Angel Tree Production.
The Renner Theatre hosted the fourth and final show of this year's production Sunday afternoon. All donations help the children at The Salvation Army's Angel Tree. We spoke with the director and writer of the production, Rich Tolliver, this afternoon who said they've already raised over $3,600 from the first three shows. Tolliver said the money goes directly towards gifts for the kids.

The latest performance at the Renner theater is going on for one more weekend.
The Zane Trace Players performed "Wait Until Dark" for the third time this afternoon. The drama is set in 1967 and it has a suspenseful feel to it. The show's director, George Patterson, said the show fits perfectly into the Autumn season. He said while they haven't had a sellout yet, he is still thrilled to see the support from the community.

Thursday nigth at the Renner Theater there was a full rehearsal of the upcoming production of "The Sunshine Boys."
"The Sunshine Boys" is a Neil Simon classic focusing on the comedic duo of Al Lewis and Willy Clark. There will be multiple performances over the Memorial Day weekend at the theater on 7th Street in downtown Zanesville.
Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. and on Sunday there is a 2:30 matinee.
