The Genesis-Bethesda Hospital is making progress in their expansion and renovation construction project.

The initial planning of the project began in August of 2010, once the plan was approved the construction began in May of 2013. The project will include major renovations to the existing Bethesda building as well as constructing a new addition and a freestanding cancer center. Chief Operating Officer, Alan R. A five year project has finally been completed.

The Mid-East Career and Technology Center held a ribbon-cutting dedication for the Zanesville campus upon the completion of the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission project. The project began in may of 2009 when voters in surrounding counties passed an improvement levy to renovate both the Buffalo and Zanesville campuses. Mid-East Career and Technology Center celebrated renovations at the Zanesville campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house event for the public.

There is only one school left in Zanesville, where the students have yet to start classes.

Mid- East Career and Technology Center has pushed back their start date to accommodate construction at the campus.

An expansion project at the Wendy's on Maple Avenue is now complete and local dignitaries gathered for the restaurant's grand re-opening.

The building was built in 1976 and had not been renovated since.  It took around a half million dollars and five months of construction to create a new interior, exterior and kitchen.
