A Zanesville business is celebrating its grand re-opening.

Local officials gathered Thursday to cut the ribbon on the new Zanesville Water Treatment Plant.

Mayor Zwelling says this is the 38th ribbon cutting in the past two and a half years, and explained the new facility is something that was very much needed.

A vacant hair salon will re-open in remembrance of the previous owner Becky Zeigler.

Zeigler, who died of cancer nearly 8 years ago, was an active community member and the owner of Tangles Hair Salon on Linden Avenue. On Thursday, a close friend of Zeiglers celebrated the grand opening of Kelly Ray's Ace of Cuts in her memory.

A barbershop will be the most recent addition to the more than 180 businesses in Downtown Zanesville.

Main Street Barbers and Stylists celebrated their grand-opening today. Previously known as Zanesville's Finest, the store is now under new management. Owners Leon and Ashley Droughn were unable to make it today due to extenuating circumstances but Managing Barber Prince Fields expressed his enthusiasm for the business.

A Zanesville business is celebrating its re-opening at a new location.

Southeastern Ohio Urology has moved next to the Wendy's on Maple Avenue.  Dr. James Monath said his practice operated for over a decade at the Good Samaritan campus.  On Tuesday, Mayor "Butch" Zwelling cut the ribbon to make the move official.

A local businessman is now bringing his ethnic influence to Zanesville.
