The 5th District Court of Appeal has overturned the convictions of a woman and her husband in the drowning of her 3-year-old son and disappearance of his 2-year-old brother during a camping trip.

Kasey and Richard Klein were in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Tuesday for sentencing in the deaths of Kasey's two young sons 2-year-old Anthony Tullius and 3-year-old Ayden Cecil.

Both Richard and Kasey were sentenced by Judge Mark Fleegle to twelve years in prison and ordered to pay over $7,000 each in restitution. The pair was found guilty of manslaughter and endangering children on February 2nd.

It's a story that has gripped the area's attention for months.  Last June 3-year-old Ayden Cecil and 2-year-old Anthony Tullius disappeared from a campsite near Ellis Dam and are believed to have drowned in the Muskingum River.

The verdict of a Muskingum County couple is now in.

Richard and Kasey Klein were both found guilty of two counts of child endangerment and two counts of involuntary manslaughter. The charges are in connection with Mrs. Kleins two children 3-year-old Ayden Cecil and 2-year-old Anthony Tullius.
