Jacksontown, Ohio Work will begin Monday, August 29th, to replace four bridges in Muskingum County thanks to the Ohio Bridge Partnership Program, an initiative of Gov. John R. Kasich.

The City of Zanesville is advising motorists to take precautions.

Starting 7:30 a.m. Monday until 3:30 p.m Friday, north and southbound lanes of Maysville Avenue (State route 22) from Putnman Avenue to State Route 719 will be restricted. As sewer maintenance worker's repair catch basins.

The Muskingum County Engineer’s Office says that parts of State Route 376 will be closed. Crews will be replacing multiple culverts. The first closure will take place between Monday and Wednesday between Bethlehem Lane and Dittmar Lane. The second closure will take place between State Route 60 and Dittmar Lane. Each day the road will close between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The project should be completed by Friday.

The City of Zanesville said Linden Avenue will be down to one lane on Monday. 

The lane restriction will take place from Commissioner Street to Adair Avenue on Monday, March 21 at 7:30am. 

The restriction due to on-going water main work.

 Motorists need to be aware of travel restrictions starting next week on Maysville Avenue (US 22).

The City of Zanesville announced Tuesday that beginning Monday, July 13 the roadway will be reduced to one lane from the railroad underpass to Seborn Avenue, weather permitting.

The area will resume routine traffic at 3:30pm on Tuesday, July 14.

The Ohio Department of Transportation announced  that work is scheduled to begin Thursday  on State Route 16 in Muskingum County.

Officials say the road will be restricted to one lane in each direction to begin building a new crossover.  Motorists will experience minor delays.

The work is in preparation for the resurfacing job that will begin Monday, May 11th.

The road will be resurfaced from the Licking County line to east of Old Riley Road.

The Ohio Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that State Route 284(Big Muskie Drive)  in Muskingum County will be closed for 3 days for roadway maintenance.

The closure will begin Monday, December 29,  in the area between SR 146 and SR 340 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The project is estimated to be completed by the end of the day on December 31, weather permitting.

The authorized detour will lead southbound traffic down SR 146 to SR 340...

Zanesville City crews will be doing work on Dresden Road that will mean some delays for motorists.

Dresden Road will be  reduced to one lane of traffic from Maple Avenue to Martin Road for milling and paving on Thursday and Friday.

Officials say access from side streets to Dresden Road will also be limited along the work area.

Motorists are being asked to use alternate routes during the construction.

A portion of State Route 209 in Guernsey County will be reduced to one lane Friday.

It's about two miles east of State Route 83. Crews are doing slip repairs. Flaggers will be in the work zone directing drivers. It's part of a two-day project that also included a culvert replacement.

Three counties will be experiencing road restrictions as drivers head to work Monday.

Crews will start work Monday to upgrade two bridges on US 22 in Guernsey County. The first is located east of New Concord, just past the Muskingum County line. The other bridge is at Peter's Creek Road. ODOT Public Information Officer, Kate Stickle, says one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction at all times, but drivers do need to be aware of barrels, surrounding the work zone at all...
