The Zanesville Police Department is investigating the second armed robbery in two days.  Detective Harry Taylor says at around noon Tuesday a man walked into the Gulf Gas station on Maysville Avenue, pulled out a knife and demanded money from the clerk.  Taylor says the bandit made off  on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. Two men are in the Zanesville City Jail after they were arrested in connection with two gas station robberies.  Lt. Zanesville Police say they have filed charges against a local man in connection with two robberies on Tuesday. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says that 27-year-old Jonathan Holt of Zanesville is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of theft. Roush says at this time Holt is not in custody. The Zanesville Police Department is currently investigating two area robberies.

Detective Sergeant Ric Roush said around 10 p.m. on Monday, a robbery occurred at Speedway Gas Station located at 930 Blue Avenue. Another happened on Tuesday at 1 a.m. at Moto Mart Gas Station at 2341 Maple Avenue. He believes the two incidences are related.

 Zanesville police are dealing with two gas station robberies. Zanesville Police Lt Bill Shaw says the first break in happened at Volaro gas station on West Main Street around 1:30am Friday morning.
