The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office needs help after a weekend robbery. Detective Mike Ryan says it happened Saturday at the Speedway gas station at 3170 Maple Avenue. The Zanesville Police Department is releasing pictures of a suspect from this week’s robbery at the Duke and Duchess in Zanesville. A McConnelsville man is sentenced in connection with a Duncan Falls bank robbery this past spring.

36-year-old Robert Hill appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Monday where he was sentenced to five years in prison.

Hill was charged with robbing the Citizen's National Bank in May of this year.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, Hill plans to appeal his sentence.

Zanesville Police have one man in custody and are searching for another man in connection with two incidents Thursday. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says it started around 3:30 am at the Putnam Beer Dock. Roush says a suspect broke out the front window of the business and stole lottery tickets, beer and cigarettes. Authorities say a man arrested in connection with an early morning armed robbery in Coshocton has also admitted to another robbery from last month.

In a press release, Coshocton County Sheriff Tim Rogers says around 3:00 Friday morning the Circle K Store on South 7th Street was robbed at knife point.

He says the suspect fled the scene in a pick up truck and was caught about 45 minutes later.

Authorities are investigating a third robbery at a Zanesville gas station this week.

According to Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz, the Speedway Gas Station at 3170 Maple Avenue was robbed around 11 p.m.  Wednesday night.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6-feet-tall, with a hooded sweatshirt and ball cap. He showed no weapon and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A robbery suspect in Licking County gets away with less than $100 from a pizza store.

Authorities continue their search for a man who robbed a Dominos Pizza Store in Pataskala around 4pm Monday.

Sheriff's detectives said the white male entered the store and demanded money from the register after brandishing a small handgun.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Pataskala Police Department assisted in the search for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.

One Zanesville man is on the run after being charged in connection with a robbery.

Detective Sgt. Roush says the Muskingum County Grand Jury recently indicted 35-year-old Teddie Hunter for a robbery that happened at a Speedway Station at 930 Blue Avenue in Zanesville back on December 2nd.

The search continues Monday night for suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery in Zanesville. 

Zanesville Police say it happened last Friday evening at 17 Ceramic Avenue.  Detective Sgt. Ric Roush says the residents of the home, which consisted of four adults and one juvenile, reported that four males entered the home all dressed in black, wearing ski masks, hoodies, and gloves demanding money, one of the suspects was armed with a hand gun.

Authorities are currently searching for suspects in an armed robbery.

According to the Zanesville Police Department, the incident occurred at 17 Ceramic Avenue around 10 p.m. on Friday .

During the time of the break-in, three adults and one child were in the home. One male was shot in the leg and his condition is unknown at this time. He was taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital by Community Ambulance.

The suspects involved are believed to have weapons and fled the scene...
