Girls Soccer-- Division II District Final

Despite out-shooting the Lady Knights, River View suffered their fifth and final loss of the year in extra time, while the Knights won their first district title. The golden goal was scored by Jordan Buchanan.

Coshocton 0 - Rosecrans 0 [Suspended with 31:07 in 1st Half]

Coshocton and Rosecrans, two teams that have been waiting a long time to face-off in the Division III Sectional Final, will have to wait a little longer.

After having the championship pushed back from Thursday, when wind and rain made conditions difficult, the match was suspended tonight due to low visibility caused by fog.

River View 31 - Rosecrans 21

River View ended a seven-game losing streak by pulling off the victory against Rosecrans. 

With the game tied at seven at halftime, the Bishops' Luke Lloyd came right out of the gate and issued a challenge to the Black Bears.  As predicted by a few coaches on the sideline, Lloyd ran the kick back 87 yards for the go-ahead score.

Tri-Valley 11 - Philo 0

Tri-Valley clinched the MVL championship with an 11-0 win over Philo Thursday night.  The Scotties were led by two hat tricks, one from junior Chase Alfman, the other from classmate Andrew McGee.  Cody Smith also added two goals in the win.

Rosecrans 2 - Coshocton 7

At first, this pivotal ECOL matchup appeared to be close.  A goal ten minutes into the contest by Coshocton senior Lucas Dunlap put the Redskins in front, but it didn't last long.

Rosecrans' Logan Lazar responded with a goal 30 seconds later, but the Bishops were unable to keep up with Coshocton's pressure in a 7-2 loss.
