In the prelude to the boys' game looming, the Rosecrans-Zanesville girls provided enough excitement to last both fanbases until Friday night, and beyond. The Lady Devils took a 12-8 lead into the second quarter, but an 8-0 to start the second for the Lady Bishops gave them their first lead of the night, one they would not relinquish. Kids in the area came out to show off their football skills in hopes of a chance to compete at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

More than 30 kids came out to Rosecrans High School to participate in the annual Punt, Pass and Kick competition. Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, the competition is only the beginning for many football enthusiasts- opening the doors to high school football.

Some local high school graduates have a few extra bucks to go toward their college education.

Each year the Muskingum County Bar Association holds an essay contest honoring Law Day and awarding scholarships to area students who write the top three essays.

Bishop Rosecrans scores big with mouthwatering meals this weekend.

Sunday, the Bishops Athletic Association held a drive thru chicken dinner fundraiser. Former Ohio State Buckeye and Cambridge native, Terry White, works for Nelson's the company that cooked the meals.

Grandparents of one local school got a little taste of what their grandkids do everyday in class.

Rosecrans high school hosted their annual Grandparents Day Thursday where the students are able to give them a tour of their school and meet their teachers.
