Therapy dogs share a special gift of comfort for both children and adults.

In Newtown, Connecticut dogs are being used to help the community and children heal after last week's tragedy.

Here in Muskingum County, there's also a group of therapy dogs at work. One of those is Mac. Through the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center, Mac, sits with children while they read.

There's a way for our community to send our thoughts to those suffering loss in the wake of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary.

Bryan and Snider Funeral Home has a memorial set up to honor the 20 children and 6 adults who lost their lives last Friday.
