The Anchor Church of Zanesville is one of those churches offering special services for the Easter Holiday.

WHIZ partnered with the American Red Cross Monday for a blood drive.

The Muskingum County Educational Service Center joined in the kicking off of the holiday season.

Mayor Tilton held the annual luncheon for Zanesville city employees at Secrest Auditorium on Friday afternoon.

A major blood drive planned for Thursday will go on as planned for now.

The Muskingum Valley Red Cross said the only way the blood drive at Secrest will be canceled is if we reach a level three snow emergency.

The drive comes at a critical point in the year.

Zanesville Mayor Jeff Tilton Wednesday announced that the city is getting a $75,000 grant from the Ohio Cultural Facilities Commission. Tilton says the funds will be used for some much needed work at Secrest Auditorium. Tilton says the money will be used for new stage curtains, carpet and lobby doors.
