A former area college student has been charged with aggravated murder in connection with the death of her newborn baby.

In the indictment, 20-year-old, Emile Weaver, a Muskingum University sophomore, also faces one count of abuse of a corpse, and two counts of tampering with evidence. Muskingum County Prosecutor, Mike Haddox said if convicted of murder, Weaver could face life imprisonment without parole.

An 11-year-old boy sits in the Muskingum County Juvenile Detention Center following his arrest in connection to a Tuesday bomb threat. 

The threat was found written on a bathroom wall at Foxfire Schools on Pinkerton Lane. During the course of the investigation, school resource officer Deputy Joseph came across the student, who upon questioning confessed to writing the threat about two weeks earlier.

The investigation into the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department has resulted in an arrest.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office arrested Adam Siddle. He is the former Assistant Chief of the volunteer ire department. Sheriff Matt Lutz was cautious to release many details about the case since it is still ongoing, but he did say Siddle is indicted on 16 counts.

We have an update on the two bodies that were discovered in a home on West Road Tuesday morning.

The male individual who died was identified as Thomas A. Cash. He was 64 years old and was living at 1663 Linden Avenue. Cash had been staying with Carolyn Eileen Porter off and on and had known her for very long time. Preliminary autopsies were carried out on the two individuals. A Muskingum County woman is dead after an overnight fire.

Muskingum County Coroner Dr, Charles Feicht says 58-year-old Toni Finnerty of Philo died of some inhalation. The fire took place at 210 3rd Street in Philo around 11:45 Monday night. Harrison Township Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Todd Elmore says when his crew arrived on the scene smoke was showing and flames were coming out of the windows. The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office said one person has died after a Tuesday morning farm accident. 

The accident took place just after 7am at 5930 Edgemoor Road in Adamsville. Sheriff Matt Lutz reports that 51-year-old William Miller, a resident of the farm, was attempting to use the PTO Shaft on a tractor to run a compressor on a milking parlor.

The Sheriff said Miller became entangled in the PTO shaft and sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.
