The Morgan County Sheriff's Office continues its investigation into an alleged weekend shooting. 

It happened in Windsor Township Saturday afternoon. After receiving a call, officers found a victim with an apparent gunshot wound to his left upper shoulder. Sheriff Thomas Jenkins reported in a press release that the victim was alert and conscious just clear of State Route 266.

Zanesville Police continue to investigate the shooting death of a Columbus man. 

Monday, the Zanesville Police Department released the name of the victim. Chief Kenneth Miller said William J. Young, 30, was shot late Friday at the Dairy Mart on the corner of Pine and Baker Streets. 

Miler said Tequane Boxley, 23, is charged with aggravated murder with gun specifications in the killing of Young.

UPDATE: The suspect, Mark A. Ray, was found just before 8:00 a.m. this morning. His truck was spotted on Morgan Run Rd and K-9 Units were able to locate him in a near by wooded area.

The investigation into a shooting incident in downtown Zanesville late Sunday Night is moving forward.

Zanesville Police Chief, Kenneth Miller, said around five shots were fired Sunday around 10:00 p.m. at 621 South Street. A man around 30 years old was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with a severely injured right arm. At 6:03 p.m. Thursday evening, Zanesville Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of a shooting at 1236 Woodlawn Avenue in Zanesville.

Two white males, Lance Loughman, 19, and Julian Moore, 23, were shot in the kitchen of their home. The alleged shooter is 18-year-old Robert D. Barr. He was arrested without incident at 1019 Findley Avenue at 2:50 p.m. Friday.

Authorities responded to the scene of a shooting in a wooded area near Adamsville.

According to LT. Mike Lococq with the Muskingum County Sherrif's office, a 26-year old male was shot in the chest area in an apparent hunting related accident.

It happened shortly after 3:30PM Monday in a wooded area near 5475 French road. The victim was transported to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.

Zanesville Police investigate a possible shooting that took place early Tuesday morning. 

Lt. Chris Phipps said the incident took place at the Little Tijuana Bar on the corner of Ridge and Mead Streets. It was reported to authorities just before 2a.m.

Lt. Phipps said at this time they've been unable to locate a victim and the case is still under investigation.

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating a shooting at 524 Ball Street.

The shooting took place around 2:30 Sunday morning. Zanesville Police Chief Kenneth Miller said 28-year-old William Hampton sustained a single gun shot wound to his ankle and foot area. Police received reports from people in the area at the time of the shooting.

The Zanesville Police Department received reports of multiple shots fired around 7:30 Thursday evening on Mead Street.

An 11-year -old boy has passed away following a tragic incident involving a gun.

According to Muskingum County Sheriff's Department Lieutenant, Mike Lecocq at approximately 3:30 p.m. their office received a 9-1-1 call that male juvenile had been shot in the chest by another male juvenile at 43 First St. in the village of Frazeysburg.

"Our detectives are here working this and the Muskingum County Coroner has just arrived as well we should be in a better state sometime...
