The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion that resulted in a shooting incident that left one of the suspects injured.

Sheriff Tim Rogers said last Thursday, shortly after midnight, deputies responded to a home at 648 Elm Street in Coshocton after receiving reports of gun shots being heard in that area.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Police in Baton Rouge said a gas station not far from police headquarters is where three law enforcement officers were shot to death early Sunday. One suspect was also shot and killed.

Baton Rouge Police CPL. L'Jean McKneely Jr. Said the shooting took place outside and possibly inside the B-Quik convenience store on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge.

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says an investigation is underway into a shooting incident at Briar Rabbit Shooting Sports at 2949 Granger Hill Road. The Sheriff says this past Sunday just after 2:00 in the afternoon his office received a call about a male that was shot in the chest during a shooting competition. Perry County Sheriff William Barker says he is investigating an armed robbery that turned into a shooting. It happened Sunday night just after 7:00 pm at the South Side Carryout at 5200 Ceramic Road in Crooksville. Sheriff Barker says a female clerk was sweeping the floor when the suspect approached her with a gun and demanded money. Barker says at some point he shot her in the left leg. Zanesville Police Chief Kenneth Miller says one man is in custody after a shooting.

It happened Thursday night just after 6:30 at 816 Orchard Street. Chief Miller says between 6 and 8 shots were fired off by a male in an apparent domestic incident. There were no injuries.

Heath Police are searching for a man involved in a Wednesday morning shooting incident.

Authorities say shortly before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday,  officers responded to an apartment in the area of Custer Road and S. 30th Street on a report of shots fired.

It was reported to officers that a resident, Dennis Hair, pointed a gun at someone then fired the gun into the street.

Police say Hair fled from officers upon their arrival and a short vehicle pursuit took place.

Newark Police said that one man is in custody following a report of shots fired inside of a home on Moull Street.

Authorities said that a female resident called police and reported hearing several gun shots coming from the bedroom of 75-year-old Gary Lint.

A Zanesville man charged in connection to a fatal shooting  last summer outside the Dairy Mart has pleaded guilty to the crime.

Court records show that 24-year-old Tequane Boxley entered a guilty plea Friday  to one count of aggravated murder in the killing of 30- year-old William Young.

Zanesville Police say Young was shot in the neck last July while sitting in a car parked at the Dairy Mart on the corner of Pine and Baker Streets.

A Zanesville man wanted in connection to a New Year's eve shooting in Zanesville has been arrested.

Zanesville Police Chief Kenneth Miller says Darrin Wade was arrested in Canton on Thursday.

Miller says Wade was brought back to Zanesville Friday and is currently in the city jail.
