A Zanesville man is facing charges in the shooting on Liberty St. near the Canteen Bar early Saturday morning.

Clarence E. Davis has been charged with three counts of Felonious Assault with a Firearm Specification and one count of Discharging at or into a Habitation with a Firearm Specification. The charges follow a shooting that wounded three people.

 Zanesville Police are investigating an early Saturday morning shooting that injured three people.  Detective Sergeant Harry Taylor says it happened  around 2:15 a.m. at the Canteen Bar at 1134 Lee Street.  Taylor says when officers arrived they found three victims with gunshot wounds.  They were transported to Genesis Hospital.   Seargeant Taylor says the victims included a 29-year-old female, and two males ages 27 and 25.  The female was treated...

The Licking County Crime Stoppers are offering an up to  $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in connection with shots fired into a Newark home in October. 

The Newark Division of the Police reports that on Oct. 31, suspect(s) drove by a home on the 400 block of Woods Ave. at approximately 7 p.m. 

Four to eight shots were fired. There were four people in the home at the time of the shooting. No injuries were reported.

The Licking County Sheriff's Office reports that two men are dead after a shooting in Heath that is currently being treated as a homicide.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m. the Licking County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene at 195 Rosemary Road SE.

The Sheriff's Office said there was a struggle with two men inside the residence that involved a handgun. Both men died from gunshot wounds from that gun.

One of the men killed lived at the residence and was preparing Thanksgiving...

UPDATE* For clarification, the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office did learn that the three children had found a neighbor and were safe. The Sheriff's Office would simply like the public to know the truth about initial claims made about the incident, that were later rescinded by Wofter.

For the second night in a row, authorities in Zanesville responded to reports of a shooting.

Around 9:15 p.m. scanner traffic indicated shots had been fired near the area of Shinnick and Orchard Streets.  Further scanner traffic indicated that a subject had been shot at, but it is believed that person was not hit.  That person then ran to a residence in the 800 block of Orchard street.

The shots reportedly came from a silver vehicle that quickly sped away from the area...

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating a reported shooting Tuesday night on Luck Avenue.

Around 8:15 p.m. authorities received multiple 911 calls in reference to shots fired in the 800 block of Luck Avenue.

Scanner traffic indicated that shots were fired out of a black vehicle as it drove by the area.

Fortunately, no one was hit by the shots and no injuries are reported.

The Newark Police Department is seeking the public's help locating a suspect following a shooting on Wednesday.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m. Newark police officers and detectives responded to the area of Webb Street near Washington Street in reference to the shooting. The victim was located near the intersection of Washington and South Cedar Streets, having walked to the residence of an acquaintance after the shooting.

The Morgan County Sheriff's Office continues its investigation into an alleged weekend shooting. 

It happened in Windsor Township Saturday afternoon. After receiving a call, officers found a victim with an apparent gunshot wound to his left upper shoulder. Sheriff Thomas Jenkins reported in a press release that the victim was alert and conscious just clear of State Route 266.

Zanesville Police continue to investigate the shooting death of a Columbus man. 

Monday, the Zanesville Police Department released the name of the victim. Chief Kenneth Miller said William J. Young, 30, was shot late Friday at the Dairy Mart on the corner of Pine and Baker Streets. 

Miler said Tequane Boxley, 23, is charged with aggravated murder with gun specifications in the killing of Young.
