Zanesville Police responded to shots fired outside of the Smiling Goat Saloon on Linden Avenue early Saturday morning.

Authorities said it happened around 12:30 a.m. Police are not releasing any more details at this time, but we talked to Darren Tigner, owner of the Smiling Goat Saloon, who said he is glad that nobody was hurt.

One man was sent to the hospital following a shooting Thursday night in the 1500 block of Ridge Avenue.

It happened in an alley off of Ridge around 9:30 p.m.   According to Sgt. Jon McCoy of the Zanesville Police Department, one male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the torso. He was alive when first responders arrived and was transported to Genesis Hospital by Community Ambulance. The extent of his injuries is not known at this time.

Charges have been filed against six people who police said were involved in a fight that led to shots being fired on Seborn Avenue in Zanesville Tuesday afternoon.

The Zanesville Police Department released a statement saying five people are now in custody following a fight that led to those shots being fired Tuesday afternoon. Zanesville Police Chief Kenneth Miller said officers were dispatched to 727 Seborn Avenue around noon. The Zanesville Police Department is investigating a reported shooting Tuesday night on Luck Avenue.

Around 8:15 p.m. authorities received multiple 911 calls in reference to shots fired in the 800 block of Luck Avenue.

Scanner traffic indicated that shots were fired out of a black vehicle as it drove by the area.

Fortunately, no one was hit by the shots and no injuries are reported.

 Sgt. Jon McCoy with the Zanesville Police Department said that shots were fired in the area of the Dairy Mart on Pine St. Tuesday evening. The call came in just before 9 p.m.

A witness reports the shooter was pointing his weapon toward a group of females gathered in the parking lot. Zanesville Police are not releasing any other details. The incident remains under investigation.

Zanesville Police were called to the 700 block of Echo Avenue late Sunday afternoon after witnesses say a man fired multiple shots into the air in the direction of a woman and her children.

Witnesses say the alleged gunman then retreated into his house, and fled into a garage behind the house.
