The Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency took part in the statewide test Wednesday of the tornado alert system.  The news is good -- all the sirens performed as expected locally.  Starting next week the E-M-A will be testing all 42 sirens in the county every Wednesday at noon through October.

As temperatures begin to climb this spring, conditions can become just right for severe weather.

The Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency has 37 sirens spread throughout the county that are used as an outdoor warning device to notify people when bad weather is approaching and to save lives.

The county will be testing these sirens tomorrow morning at 9:50 a.m. It's part of a statewide tornado drill.
