ODOT's Muskingum County Manager, Phil Valentine says that even though the snow fall won't begin until later this evening the preparation and planning start now.

Spring may only be a month away, but today it definitely didn't feel like it.

With below freezing temperatures and close to 3 inches of snow falling throughout the day road conditions were anything but ideal.

"Terrible, yeah actually I was surprised. I though Route 22 and some of the main routes would be open, you know, clear. I wasn't expecting that but, we'll make it" said Jeff Kokensparger.

Electa George said she would have canceled her appointments if it wasn'...

The next arctic cold front will begin to move through the region today. Highs will occur during the morning, and then temperatures will begin to fall during the afternoon. Snow will also accompany the front as well. Light snow will begin during the early morning, but will begin to pick up in intensity during the mid to late morning. It will be breezy as well, so visibility may be greatly reduced at times. Wind gusts up to about 25 or 30 mph will be common, especially this afternoon. We can...

During bad snow storms it's always a good idea to stay inside. So, what exactly should you buy early to stay prepared?

Non-perishable canned goods are always a smart choice. Not only are easy to grab, but they don't require refrigeration making them easy to stock.

We made a visit to their home Tuesday afternoon to check out their life sized snow bear. It features its own honey pot and is even colored appropriately. We spoke to Matt Winland, who explained the inspiration behind the creation.

"The idea started a few years ago. We were back visiting some family in kansas and we ended up getting a foot and a half of snow. So it...
