A young boy was transported by medflight to a hospital in Columbus following an ATV crash on Friday night.
The Perry County Sheriff's Office says it happened around 6:30 p.m. on Buckeye Valley Road just north of S.R. 669 in Somerset. It was confirmed by the Somerset Fire Department that the child was wearing a helmet.
The Sheriff's Office declined to release any more details.
In nearby Somerset, residents experienced significant damage. Many claim to have seen and felt the tornado. They say the damage should speak for itself.

A Perry County man is in the hospital after being shot in his own home.

Three people are injured after a crash this morning near Somerset.
It happened east of the town on US 22 at about 7:20 this morning. 39-year old James Shahan and 39 -year old Dawn Shahan were driving eastbound on US 22, when the car went left of center and struck 32-year old Timothy Carder head-on.
James, the driver, was ejected from the vehicle.
All three were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.
A Somerset family lost its home to fire over the weekend. The Muskingum Valley Red Cross is helping Don King and Cheryl Toppins who lived at 5385 Township Road 398-A in Perry County. The home is considered a total loss. The Red Cross is helping the couple with funding to go shopping for clothes, food and temporary housing. Fire Departments from Glenford-Hopewell Township, Somerset and Thorn Township responded to the scene on Sunday.
