Elementary students in four counties learn about classical music through listening to a concert. 

The Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra's Alato Trio traveled to schools in Noble, Coshocton, Guernsey and Muskingum Counties. Along the way, violinist Laura Schumann, said they're playing for around 3,000 students. She said it's thrill to see the students get excited for classical music.

A sweet symphony could be heard throughout Muskingum University this afternoon.

Doctor Laura Schumann conducted the Southeastern Ohio Symphony's Orchestra as they rehearsed this afternoon for their upcoming concerts. Some area students learned an important lesson on negative effects of bullying with the help of music.

The Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra had a concert for fifth graders at the Secrest Auditorium on Monday . Their mission was to educate children about the harms of bullying. Regional musicians are ringing in the holiday season with a special concert.

Hundreds of people packed Secrest Auditorium Thursday evening to listen to some holiday tunes.

It marked the 37th annual Holiday Pops Concert for the Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra. This is Professor David Turrill's first year participating in the concert and he says he enjoys being able to bring holiday cheer through music.
