St. Thomas Church's annual festival is in full swing this weekend.

The festival has been a community tradition for over 60 years. Folks who went out Friday enjoyed live music, games and a wide array of food, including goodies from local favorites Adornettos and Giacomos. Chairman, Kristen Baughman talked to us about what the festival has in store for the rest of the weekend.

Saint Thomas Aquinas Church is gearing up to kick off its annual festival downtown this weekend.

Popular at the festival this year will be new live entertainment, an obstacle course, and new menu items, including pulled pork and baked potatoes....and of course no festival would be complete without a beer garden. Committee member, Jenifer Dittmar, said there's a little something for everyone.

The corner of Fifth and Shinnick in downtown Zanesville is coming alive Thursday for the start of the annual St. Thomas Festival.

St. Thomas Church has been putting on the festival for well over 60 years. The kids can enjoy games and bounce houses while the adults can enjoy a beverage and try their hand at blackjack. And of course, no festival would be complete without the food.

Tents are being set up for the annual festival that starts Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. with "Teen Night," and is open only to middle and high school aged kids on Wednesday. The $6 admission for teens will get you pizza, popcorn and pop.

The official opening day for the festival is Thursday at 5:00 p.m. and is free and open to everyone. There will be live bands, children's games, gambling, a beer tent and food booths featuring brats, pizza, sloppy joes, sloppy chicken and funnel...

The school year has come to an end and summer festivities are beginning...

The St. Thomas Festival kicks off tomorrow evening at Bishop Fenwick School on Fifth Street. Festival committee member Kristen Baughman said there will be plenty of things for the whole family to enjoy.

A long time Zanesville tradition kicks off at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The St. Thomas Festival is an annual event that has been going on in Zanesville for more than 50 years. While the event usually coincides with Gus Macker, which has ben canceled this year, Festival Committee Member, Kristen Baughman, says she doesn't think it will have too big of an impact.
