Cambridge police investigate the stabbing on the city's northside.
Police said that around 11p.m. Wednesday night they responded to a residence in regards to a man being stabbed. Upon arrival police found a 33-year-old man sitting on the front porch with two stab wounds to the left side of his face.
Police have a suspect but won't release his name until formal charges are filed. The suspect lives at the same residence with his girlfriend and the victim.
Zanesville Police are investigating a weekend stabbing incident. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says a 32-year-old Zanesville man was stabbed early Saturday morning around 4:15. Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says his office is investigating a stabbing incident in New Concord. Lutz says it happened as a result of a domestic dispute between the brother of a female and her husband. The Sheriff says the husband was stabbed in the leg. Both men could face charges. No other details were released.
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating a stabbing incident that happened during a robbery. Sheriff Tim Rogers says on Tuesday 39-year-old Paul Bridges III of Coshocton was walking north on 6th street when he was confronted by a male. Bridges told deputies he was stabbed several times and his wallet was stolen. The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office says it's investigating a domestic dispute that led to a woman being stabbed.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. at 570 Main Street in Duncan Falls.
Sheriff Matt Lutz says the man allegedly stabbed the woman twice. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with what deputies are calling non life-threatening injuries. Lutz says his office is waiting to take statements from the couple, who are believed to be married, to determine a motive.
