Zanesville Police are investigating a weekend stabbing incident. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says a 32-year-old Zanesville man was stabbed early Saturday morning around 4:15. A police officer found the victim along the roadway at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Keen Street. Roush the victim appeared to have stab wounds to both sides and the abdomen area. A New Concord man pleads guilty to stabbing his brother in law in February.

26-year-old David Phillips appeared Friday  morning in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court where he entered guity pleas to charges of aggravated assault and domestic violence.

Phillips was arrested on February 1st  when authorities say he was arguing with his wife at their home and stabbed her brother during an altercation.

 Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says his office is investigating a stabbing incident in New Concord. Lutz says it happened as a result of a domestic dispute between the brother of a female and her husband. The Sheriff says the husband was stabbed in the leg. Both men could face charges. No other details were released.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating a stabbing incident that happened during a robbery. Sheriff Tim Rogers says on Tuesday 39-year-old Paul Bridges III of Coshocton was walking north on 6th street when he was confronted by a male. Bridges told deputies he was stabbed several times and his wallet was stolen. A Duncan Falls man, who allegedly stabbed his wife last month, appears in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court for his arraignment.

50-year-old Timothy Erwin Senior pled not guilty to one count of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence. His bond was continued at $100,000.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office says Erwin stabbed his wife, 49-year-old Joann, twice at their home on October 24th. She was taken to a local hospital, treated, and released.

The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office says it's investigating a domestic dispute that led to a woman being stabbed.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. at 570 Main Street in Duncan Falls.

Sheriff Matt Lutz says the man allegedly stabbed the woman twice. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with what deputies are calling non life-threatening injuries. Lutz says his office is waiting to take statements from the couple, who are believed to be married, to determine a motive.

The Newark Police Department is investigating an early Saturday morning stabbing.

It happened on South Fourth Street at the Inverness Bar around 2 a.m.

Sergeant Darrin Logan says it's unclear at this time what led up to the event, but the victim was taken to Licking Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries and later transported to Grant Medical Center.

The suspect was apprehended at the scene. He's being held at the Licking County Justice Center.

The Morgan County Sheriff's Office says a 63-year-old man is receiving treatment at Athens Behavioral Health Center after a Wednesday stabbing on a Morgan Transit.

Sheriff Tom Jenkins says the man reportedly held a knife to the driver, 61-year-old John Koch's, side and told Koch to take him somewhere, besides his home. A Zanesville man pleads not guilty to charges surrounding a stabbing in Washington Township a week ago.

40-year-old Brian Wilson appeared before Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill on two counts of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence. His bond was continued at $50,000.
