A Norwich man passed away following a two vehicle accident Wednesday night.
The State Highway Patrol said it's investigating the accident that took place around 10:30p.m. on US 22 at Sundale Road in Union Township, Muskingum County.
Troopers said 21-year-old Ethan West of Norwich was driving north on Sundale in a Jeep Grand Cherokee and failed to yield at a stop sign and drove into the path of 44-year-old Thomas Smith of Zanesville.
A high speed pursuit through two counties ends with one person being transported to the hospital.
Muskingum County Sheriff's Deputies said it began around midnight Thursday when they were attempting to stop a 2002 Toyota on State Route 40 east of Zanesville for a traffic offense.

An accident involving a West Muskingum School bus delays the start of the school day for students on board.
The accident took place around 7:45a.m. at US 40 West and Dillon Falls Road. The State Highway Patrol's Trooper Mike Forshey said the West Muskingum Bus was stopped behind a green S10 Blazer at a stop light on Dillon Falls Road, when the light turned green the Blazer hesitated and the bus coasted into its back end.

American Electric Power shuts off power to a neighborhood following an accident Friday afternoon.
It took place on Tannehill Road off of State Route 146 before 3p.m., when a Chevy S-10 pick-up crashed into a home. The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol said they needed the power company's help due to fears the truck could have been energized.
They hoped to shut off power before removing the vehicle from the house.
