An East Muskingum Local Schools bus was involved in an injury accident Tuesday.

According to the Trooper Scott Bayless with the State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on U.S. 40 near the Sav-A-Step Drive-Thru just outside of New Concord.

An accident on State Route 146 sends one person to the hospital Monday morning.

Despite the appearance of the Pontiac Sunfire with it's dented passenger side, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the female driver of suffered only minor injuries following the accident.

"We have one vehicle that was trying to turn into the Duke and Duchess and was struck on the right side by a westbound pick up truck," said Trooper Wes Archer from the state highway patrol.

A Christmas shopping trip almost turned tragic for one Cambridge family.

Lance Morrison and his fiancee Summer were coming home from Zanesville, December 17, on US 22 with their two month old daughter, Leighonna Nikol when they saw a car coming towards them straddling the yellow line followed by blue flashing lights.

"It was a gold blur," explained motorist Lance Morrison. "I'm thinking oh my what's going to happen?"

A rollover crash around 7:30 Wednesday night shut down Dresden Road in Muskingum Township for more than an hour.

The one-car accident occurred near the intersection of Dresden and Frame Roads.

According to Trooper Adam McKenzie with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, a blue Chevy S-10 truck was traveling westbound on Frame Road, went off the right side of the road, hit an embankment and overturned.

The truck came to rest on its top on Dresden Road....

A man from West Virginia faces felony drug charges in Ohio after getting caught with $36,000 worth of cocaine.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said 34-year-old Earl Rivers of Wheeling, West Virginia was charged with possession of cocaine.

Troopers stopped Rivers around 1:30pm Thursday on Interstate 70 in Licking County for following too closely.

Troopers observed what they call criminal indicators and called in a patrol drug sniffing dog that led them to the cocaine....

The State Highway Patrol is out on the scene of an accident that is tying up traffic Friday morning.

The patrol can't release much information at this time other than that the accident took place at Ohio 37 and US 40 and involves three vehicles.

A Greenwood Avenue family woke up early Thursday morning when a truck crashed into their front porch.

The State Highway Patrol said just before 4a.m. Trooper Roe from the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol clocked a red truck traveling west on Interstate 70 at 105mph.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a car that hit a house in the 11-hundred block of Greenwood Avenue Thursday morning.

The accident took place just before 4a.m. While the State Highway Patrol can't release much information at this time, scanner traffic indicated they were looking for the driver of the vehicle and believe he may have injuries sustained from hitting the windshield.

An interstate semi accident is causing headaches for motorists and authorities Tuesday morning.

The Ohio Department of Transportation said that one lane of I-70 west in Guernsey County is closed between Old Washington and Quaker City due to a vehicle crash.

The State Highway Patrol said that a semi went through a guardrail, leaving the trailer on the highway while the cab went over an embankment.

An accident Monday evening in Zanesville sends a vehicle flipping over an embankment, just missing the railroad tracks below.
