If you don't have anywhere to go this Thanksgiving, the House of Grace Church is inviting you to celebrate the holiday with them. Melissa Dunlap of the House of Grace Church says everyone is more than welcome to stop by the church and join them for dinner.

"We're gonna have turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, noodles, vegetables, rolls, dessert, the whole nine yards," said Dunlap. "We want everyone to feel like they're having a real Thanksgiving."

The AAA Auto Club is expecting 43.4 million Americans to be traveling this Thanksgiving, including 1.68 million Ohioans. AAA Spokeswoman Kimberly Schwind, says that's a decrease of 1.5 percent nationally and 1.7 percent in Ohio. Although it's a small decrease from last year's numbers, Schwind says the number of travelers has been gradually climbing since the recession. If you're traveling this holiday season, Schwind says the day before Thanksgiving is the busiest day to travel.

The holidays are quickly approaching and it seems that community members are in a giving mood.

Colony Square Mall Marketing Coordinator Kevin Pinson says with a variety of new stores at the mall, shoppers should be able to find something for everyone.

"We have everything from radio controlled toys for the kids to infinity lights, which are a great home decoration," said Pinson. "We have a place selling sweaters and hats and blankets so whatever the person on your list needs, you can probably find it here."

A local funeral home makes sure those in need have a turkey filled Thanksgiving.

Funeral Directors Ty Dierkes and Paige Wagner led a parade of employees holding the holiday staple as they loaded up a Christ's Table truck with fifteen birds. Each bird represents a funeral home employee or staff member.

Not everyone had the day off from work on Thanksgiving, so the Zanesville Fire Department hosted their own Thanksgiving dinner.

Volunteers took time away from their families to help feed the less fortunate.

Christ's Table served their traditional Thanksgiving meal today. In addition to the 200 meals expected to be served, more than 150 were delivered to the homebound. Although the day is very busy for those involved, volunteers see it as a blessing.

Thanksgiving came a day early for those who attended the Salvation Army's dinner Wednesday afternoon.

Anywhere from six to eight-hundred people were expected to turn out for the traditional Thanksgiving meal, a community gathering which has occurred for about twenty years. The idea is to bring the community together by offering not only a meal, but a sense of family.

This Thanksgiving, Christ's Table is making sure no one goes hungry.

From 10:30 until 12:30 Thursday the soup kitchen will feed around 150 people a free home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks to volunteers another 200 meals will be home delivered.
