The Zanesville community is all ready for March Madness, and one local bar is helping keep the celebration going.

An MMA fighter will be visiting the City of Zanesville Saturday.

Mike King, will be at The Barn Saturday, August 2 from 2PM to 4PM signing autographs. Eddie Brock, a friend of Mikes says King began his career toward mixed martial arts in the Tri-Valley school district during his junior high and high school years. This is his first time back home since he began pursuing MMA.

The 2nd round of the NCAA March Madness Tournament  took place on Thursday. Basketball fans from around the area met at The Barn to watch their favorite teams play.

Many people came out to see Ohio State play Dayton, while enjoying their lunch break with fellow fans. Locals predicted a win for Ohio State.

Various college bowl games have been going on around the nation and fans came into The Barn to watch their favorite teams duke it out.

Don Mason brought his family out on New Year's Day to enjoy food and refreshments while gearing up for one of the big games. He says that one of the coaches playing in the Rose Bowl is from our area and he enjoys watching his team play.

Both Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals fans joined under one roof to watch the rival game on Sunday.

Members of the community met at The Barn around 1 p.m. for kick off  and to enjoy food while cheering on their favorite teams. One visitor says that he has been a Cleveland fan since the 1970's, and although he says that the Browns aren't doing the best he still has high hopes for the team.

The Muskingum County Ohio State Alumni Association met at The Barn for a special" Beat the Boilers" football game watch party  on Saturday.

The college football season has officially started and some local Buckeye fans gathered at The Barn on Saturday to celebrate.

One local fan dedicated the opening of the season to her husband who recently has passed away due to illness.

Beginning Friday bar-goers might carry in a gun - legally.

That's when Ohio's revised concealed-carry law goes into effect. Under the new law, people licensed to carry a concealed weapon are allowed to bring a gun into restaurants and bars - giving a new concern for owners and employees.
