The Fieldhouse Foundation in partnership with Lowe's Home Improvement and the Mid East Career and Technology Center are providing a new activity for disabled children in our area.

For more than a year the three organizations worked together to create a nine hole golf course on the second floor of The Fieldhouse. Lowe's along with other sponsors donated the materials while Mid East students provided the labor.

Autozone's Distribution Center in partnership with The Fieldhouse will provide special needs training in a new facility.

Church members are cleaning up a soggy mess today after a roof collapsed at their church in downtown Zanesville.

The Grace United Methodist Church's custodian discovered the hole early Friday morning. Dan Arter, a trustee for the church, says they think water from this weeks rain built up on the roof and became so heavy, it collapsed.

The Fieldhouse Foundation held their 15th annual awards ceremony and gave out scholarships to many well-deserving athletes who will be heading off to college in the fall.

Last October, senior Zach Hanf nearly died when he collided head-on with a semi truck on Route 31. After 13 surgeries, including a left leg amputation, Zach was forced to adjust. The pro soccer team coming to Muskingum County is gearing up for their nearing season.

The Zanesville Athletic Futbol Club is affiliated with U.S. Soccer and is in the National Premiere Soccer League. So far, the team has had two tryout sessions, resulting in six players signing. They have another try out scheduled for March 24th at 4 PM.

Christmas Eve didn't stop people from hitting the gym for a last minute holiday workout.

The Fieldhouse in Zanesville had a steady stream of people coming in starting at 5 a.m. Some people were travelers coming through town, other were family that are home for the holidays.

The Fieldhouse Fitness Center will be expanding their facilities to include those with special needs.

The recent addition includes a four-thousand square foot, 24-hour gym for able bodied athletes. The new facility includes a unique aspect.

Shortly after the storm started Friday night, the Fieldhouse took a big hit.

"We had everyone up in the front lobby area just keeping an eye on what's going on. In the bigger field you could hear the roof rise up and let down, so that's kind of what told us something was going on and so shortly after that we came and checked it out and saw a big piece of the roof missing," said employee Eric Flint.

It was an event that raised the question, "Who let the dads out?"

Dads and their kids were invited to an evening of fun and games at the Fieldhouse as a part of the ForeverDads program.
