Red kettle season is over at the salvation army, but they're going to keep the campaign going.

The Salvation Army's headquarters has decided to match all money raised in fundraising this year. Ministry Assistant, Dustin Redmond, says they came up with the idea to put small, counter kettles on the walls at The Salvation Army for a small donation of $1.

The Salvation Army is helping people stay warm during these dangerously cold winter temperatures.

Their emergency shelter has been checking in a number of individuals within the past couple of days due to the severly cold weather this week. The shelter can house a maximum of 35 individuals from 1 to 90 days and service anyone from Muskingum, Perry or Morgan counties.

Some good news for The Salvation Army as they have passed their red kettle goal with one day to spare.

This year, The Salvation Army set a goal of $100,000 for their annual red kettle event, and as of yesterday, they raised well over that amount. The Rotary Club of Zanesville Daybreak honored the Rotary's motto of "Service Above Self" Saturday.

Rotarians rang those familiar bells for the Salvation Army's red kettle campaign. Daybreak's President Doug Waltman says club members donated their time at Kroger today to help The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army received a generous donation today.

This morning, Terry's Tavern on Linden Avenue presented a check for $1,000 to The Salvation Army. Co-owner Tim Arnold says they've been collecting donations for about six months now and this is the third year they've been able to make a donation.

The Salvation Army of Zanesville got a generous donation Wednesday.

The check, presented by Jim McLaughlin, Director of the Zanesville Civic Chorus, was worth a little over $1,700. It will go toward funding the debt of the Salvation Army. We spoke to Office Manager Mindy McCloy who told us just how much the gift means.

The Salvation Army is hard at work during the holiday season.

Today marked the 24th Anniversary of the Annual Angel Tree Production.

The Renner Theatre hosted the fourth and final show of this year's production Sunday afternoon. All donations help the children at The Salvation Army's Angel Tree. We spoke with the director and writer of the production, Rich Tolliver, this afternoon who said they've already raised over $3,600 from the first three shows.
