On Monday we told you about a special birth at the Wilds Animal Preserve in Muskingum County. Two exotic horse-like animals born are getting a lot of attention.

The Wilds is adding a new facility to its 10,000 acres of land. It held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of its brand new Conservation Science Training Center.

A giraffe born and raised at The Wilds died after being transported to the Tulsa Zoo.

The giraffe named "Amali" and another female giraffe were on their way to the Tulsa Zoo to breed with male giraffes. A neck injury was discovered when "Amali" arrived in Tulsa. The birth of a fourth generation southern white rhino is making history.

The female was born on October 31st at the Wilds.

It marks the first birth of a fouth generation southern white rhino in a managed herd on this continent. The Wilds is now managing seven of this species of rhino, which is also considered endangered.

The Wilds says the newest edition to the rhino pack and its mother are doing fine.

A group of individuals at The Wilds are trying to find that perfect picture this weekend.

They are taking part in The Wilds' second annual Photography Camp, and Conservation Education Specialist, Denise Natoli Brooks, says thanks to the amazing response from last year's three day camp, The Wilds was able to add an additional one this year.
