The Zanesville Fire Department is inviting the public to join them for a night full of laughter and fun.
The department's first ever Comedy Night fundraiser will be held at Bryan Place on July 31, at 8 p.m. Attendees can enjoy Bryan Place favorites at an additional cost.
"Bryan Place actually what they do, is line up the comedians for us, all we have to do is sell the tickets and the biggest proceeds of that go to the actual fundraiser," said Fire Fighter, Chad Brock....
High water on roadways can put drivers in dangerous situations.
Zanesville Fire Fighter Greg Brocklehurst said it's up to drivers to make the right call when approaching standing water.
"You really don't want to drive through it because it can be deceiving how high it may be," said Brocklehurst. "It may not look like much but you start going into it and it starts getting deeper and deeper. It's very hard to judge how deep it is before you get into it. "
BUCKEYE LAKE, OHIO (WHIZ) - ODNR Director, Jim Zehringer told members of the Ohio House Buckeye Lake Caucus that repairs on the dam could begin about a year ahead of previous estimates. MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) - The Muskingum County Coroner, Dr. Charles Feicht, says the deceased baby found on Muskingum Universities Campus last week was born alive. The mother of the baby was interviewed by Muskingum County Sheriffs Detectives, at this time no charges have been field.

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) -The Muskingum County Sheriffs office have publicly identified one of the two bodies found dead in a home just outside of Adamsville. The bodies of 77-year-old Carolyn Eileen Porter and a 64 year-old male, whose name is being withheld pending notification of his family, were found in a residence at 5180 West Road on Tuesday.
