Dresden Police spend extra time patrolling near Tri-Valley High School.

Dresden Police Chief Jeff Garver said that Facebook has been running rampant with people talking about threats and the added patrol is just to put people at east in the wake of the Connecticut shooting.

New federal guidelines on school lunches are changing how students eat during the school day.

Under the Dietary Guidelines for American's, school lunches are now required to have age-aligned calorie maximums, capping the amount of calories high school students eat to around 850. Tri-Valley school district has reworked its lunch menu to accommodate the new rules but it's coming at a cost to the school.

The Tri-Valley High School Marching Scotties held their annual bazaar on Saturday to help support the school band.

Band Booster President Steve Starkey said this year's band has more than 70 students, making upcoming travel for band competitions a heavy expense. He said the students help organize and put on the bazaar to help off-set the cost.

About 240 students entered the Jack Anderson Stadium today as seniors...and left as alumni.

The Tri-Valley High School graduation brought in quite a crowd this afternoon to celebrate the school's 45th commencement. Principal, Jim Pottmeyer, said the group is a wonderful representation of what the school is about.

A battle is brewing in the Tri-Valley School District between a teacher and the superintendent.

Tri-Valley Superintendent Mark Neal said he will recommend Tri-Valley High School Biology Teacher Susan Moore be terminated.

Neal said Moore had nine instances in the last two years taking sick leave at Tri-Valley to teach at Zane State, which he says is a misuse of public tax dollars. He says on two instances, she took two sick days in a row at Tri-Valley, taught a class at Zane State...

Today was the annual Basket Happening at Tri-Valley High School. For Longaberger basket fans, they may have though they died and went to heaven.

Tri--valley high school students got a challenge from a columbine victim's family member.

Larry Scott the uncle of the first girl who was shot and killed in the columbine massacre spoke to the students this morning about kindness.
